You'll get fresh air, movement, variety, and plenty of four-legged companionship--all while having ownership over how you manage your workday.This position is a great fit for someone who wants consistent weekday work without a traditional office environment. Whether you're looking for a full-time opportunity, supplemental income, or simply a job that keeps you moving and outside, this could be a great fit.<h3>What You'll Do</h3><ul><li>Visit clients' homes Monday-Friday to care for their pets.</li><li>Walk dogs and provide exercise, play, companionship, feeding, and fresh water.</li><li>Care for dogs, cats, and other household pets according to detailed client instructions.</li><li>Keep pets safe and secure during every visit.</li><li>Enter clients' homes respectfully and maintain confidentiality and professionalism.</li><li>Review your schedule and client information before each visit.</li><li>Check in and out of visits using our mobile app.</li><li>Complete Pet Care Journals with detailed updates and photos after each visit.</li><li>Complete assigned visits within the client's requested time window.</li><li>Manage your time and route efficiently throughout the day.</li><li>Communicate with Operations when questions, concerns, or unexpected situations arise.</li><li>Use good judgment and problem-solving skills when unexpected situations occur.</li><li>Follow all safety procedures, company policies, leash laws, and pet-care protocols.</li><li>Maintain the tools and supplies needed for each visit.</li><li>Complete all required training and stay current on company procedures.</li><li>Provide a professional, friendly experience for every client and pet.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul><h3>Your Schedule</h3>This is a weekday-only position with consistent Monday-Friday availability required.You must be available for a minimum of 6 hours per weekday.Available scheduling windows include:<ul><li>Morning: 6:00 AM-12:00 PM</li><li>Midday: 10:00 AM-4:00 PM</li><li>Evening: 4:00 PM-10:00 PM</li></ul>Your specific schedule will be based on your availability and the needs of the business.<h3>Working Independently</h3>All Becky's Pet Care Specialists are expected to work independently. You should be comfortable walking, standing, sitting, climbing stairs, bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and using your hands throughout the day. You must be able to lift, move, pull, or push a minimum of 25 pounds.You will work primarily in clients' homes and outdoors and may be exposed to heat, cold, rain, snow, and other seasonal weather conditions.

Our walkers are W2 employees, meaning they accrue PTO as they work and are eligible for 401k contributions after 6 months of employment. Walkers are paid per service, and typically work 15-20 hrs a week and bring in $350-$500 weekly. Does this sound like a fit for you?

Are you able to walk outside for several hours each day in any type of weather (e.g., rain, sleet, snow, extreme heat, etc.)?

Becky's Pet Care has a BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) policy. Do you have a smart phone you can use during dog walks and pet sitting? This will allow you to interface with the software used by Becky's Pet Care and communicate with clients.
